As always, IFA was an opportunity for us to brush up on current trends in the industry and head back to Chicago with some new insights and inspirations. Here are a few of our takeaways from last week:
- Fresh, conscientious brands are succeeding. It was inspiring to see young brands like Clean Juice get recognized for their growth, contributions to the franchise landscape, and most importantly—their unique product and brand.
- Retail spaces are changing. An all-encompassing brand experience is more important than ever before. Franchisers need to create seamless transitions between environments through quality solutions.
- Franchisers are getting smarter. They’re engaging in site analysis, market research and franchisee selection. The days of giving a franchise out to anyone with a pulse are over!
- Young franchisees are on the rise. Brands are focusing on signing with younger franchisees with single unit deals and teaching them to grow into multi-unit owners in the future.
